About This Journal

Through the Lens was created as an extension of the Fell Ponies of North America: Through the Lens community — this will be a quieter space devoted to storytelling, photography, artwork, poetry and lived experiences surrounding Fell ponies across North America.

Rooted in the long tradition of rural storytelling and artistic expression surrounding Britain’s native breeds, this journal gathers reflections, competition stories, field notes, essays and visual works exploring the many ways these ponies shape our lives.

Published seasonally and thoughtfully, one story at a time.
